Jailbreaking your newly upgraded, previously jailbroken, iPhone with ZiPhone will result in a loss of application icons on your Springboard.
I will update this post for the latest information I find on the 1.1.4 jailbreak process.
So far:

Applications seem to stay installed
No icons for installed applications visible on Springboard
Uninstalling applications works
Installing new applications work, shows icon on [...]

Apple just released the iPhone and iPod Touch firmware 1.1.4 update. I am installing it right now. Will let you know what, if anything is new!
