Ack! Someone rebuilt built Noah’s Ark!

What a colossal waste of time!  A Dutch contractor named Johan Huibers has built a replica of the mythical Noah’s Ark that is mentioned in the Bible.

It’s half the size: 70 cubits (10ft) long, 9.5 cubits (14.2ft) wide and nearly 13 cubits (19.5ft) high and was built on a barge that can be moved with a tug boat.

For those of you who don’t know about the Bible story of the ark, the story goes that a god told a man (Noah) to build an ark to house a male and female of each species of animal on the planet because said god was going to flood the Earth to destroy evil and purify humanity.

The replica ark travels around to different ports and features fake animals and a theatre where kids can watch “educational” Christian propoganda movies.

Huibers is now working on a full scale model named Dutch Ark Two.

There is something similar in Florida.. it is a theatre that is stationary. It functions as a theatre/synagogue for some crazy Non-Denominational church. I think it is a riot either way.

In order to be “rebuilt”, it had to have been built before, but the ark story is a myth, so:
“Ack! Someone built the mythical Noah’s Ark!”
