Ohio Diocese says to Priests: No more kids on your lap
The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cincinnati has decided that imposing rules on to priests in regards to the way they interact with children might help curb child molestation and protect the priests from accusations.
That’s right Priests; no more kids sitting on your lap (holy crap!), no kissing, no tickling, no bear hugs, no wrestling and no piggy-back rides. This should help curb your desire to fondle and destroy a child’s self-esteem.
You can, however, still give a shoulder to shoulder hug (I’m assuming that happens from the side, standing next to each other.), a pat on the back, a high-five, and a handshake.
Seriously though, who is around to actually witness a man of the cloth sexually abusing a child? Will these rules accomplish anything or are they created to appease the community?
