Ben Stein: Complete asshole or total douche-bag?
It’s hard to tell these days when it comes to Ben Stein. Regardless of his well publicized IQ, he has gone and vomited some more salacious crap that doesn’t make sense. Why are people listening to him? More importantly, why are media outlets interviewing him?!
He is and asshole AND a douche-bag. Oh, and so is Glenn Beck for agreeing with him and taking the conversation on.
My beef is with Stein though. You see, Obama is going to be delivering his acceptance speech for the Democratic Presidential nomination to 75,000 people at an outdoor stadium. Ben Stein compared Obama to Hitler saying that, “Seventy-five-thousand people at an outdoor sports palace, well, that’s something the Fuehrer would have done.”
Glenn Beck went so far to say that, “we’re headed towards a Mussolini-style presidency.” He is an idiot for even taking Ben Stein seriously. I just look at him and laugh. There is no way I could take him seriously as a reporter. It looks more like he doesn’t know what he is talking about and he is trying to score points with a D-list celebrity.

Ben Stein’s Fuehrer comments were silly and irresponsible! I dare say that Beck and Stein’s Barack Obama comments may be a wee bit racially motivated!?

I can’t even fucking imagine someone having racial issues with Obama and as a people we SHOULD NOT stand for it. It’s completely ridiculous! You’re right David, if it is, SHAME on them. An exact quote that he cites from Sarah Palin is “Also, for this country, that our leaders, our national leaders, are sending them [our troops] out on a task that is from God.” He uses this line to disagree with the assertion that Palin has been commanded by God to go to war with Iraq. He takes a serious problem with her policy (i.e. invoking a higher power to justify violence) and completely misses the point. It’s classic bait-and-switch techniques to take a ridiculous comment from someone he supports and makes an even more ridiculous claim to refute. It can make a terrible argument seem reasonable by comparison. Techniques like this are used only by the smelliest of douchebags.
He is pretty much an idiot in my book.

Or, it could be the case that he has lost his mind. Perhaps he should pray for his mental well-being to return and see how far that gets him.
Mr. Stein saying that ‘atheists are scared’ (no matter how many times he spouts this B.S.) does not make it true. Neither does his saying any of the other vacuous shit he pukes out, make that true. Shame on him for attempting to make factual claims while providing no proper argumentation.
