Google Ad Manager Beta Invitation

Google announced the release of a new beta product for advertisers today called Google Ad Manager. I currently run a few different sites, and in my quest to try and make them profitable (besides providing it with great content) I try to manage advertising for each of these sites.
On this site I am using Text-Link-Ads and a WordPress plugin called OIOPublisher that acts as an ad manager. Text-Link-Ads is great because they are also a broker for my ads, but there system is cumbersome and confusing to use. OIOPublisher is cool because it’s so feature rich and completely under my control. It allows publishers to select from adspots they want and to signup on the sopt without intervention from me. Right now, my site receives a reasonable amount of traffic, and I just installed the plugin, so we’ll see if I get any publishers signing themselves up.
I’m interested in using this new Google Ad Manager or at least trying it out. It allows you to:
- Take an inventory of advertiseable spaces
- Input code into those spaces to allow for dynamic placement of ads
- Track and manage how many impressions each advertiseable space receives
- Upload ads and activate them for each advertiseable space
- Track revenue and run performance reports
So it sounds cool, huh? I applied for the beta program as it is invitation only right now. I hope I get approved!
