Jailbreaking iPhone 1.1.4 still fuzzy

Phone and iPod Touch Jailbreak

Jailbreaking your newly upgraded, previously jailbroken, iPhone with ZiPhone will result in a loss of application icons on your Springboard.

I will update this post for the latest information I find on the 1.1.4 jailbreak process.

So far:

  • Applications seem to stay installed
  • No icons for installed applications visible on Springboard
  • Uninstalling applications works
  • Installing new applications work, shows icon on Springboard

Note: Zibri, creator of the ZiPhone jailbreak, is letting users know that they should not upgrade or jailbreak 1.1.4 until he has had the chance to fully test!

Update: Zibri announced that the Jailbreak will work with 1.1.4, but he needs to make a few tweaks first. He should have a new version out within the next 2-3 days.

jailbreaking my iPhone was a breeze. I found how to do this from a site i found called http://www.iphonenewsvault.com. I’d say if you need help check that site out. It also keeps me updated with everything about the iPhone.
