Apple releases iPhone/iPod Touch 1.1.4 firmware; what’s new?

Apple just released the iPhone and iPod Touch firmware 1.1.4 update. I am installing it right now. Will let you know what, if anything is new!
Update: It didn’t kill my music or contacts, my phone was a jailbroken 1.1.3. You’re safe if you want to upgrade, for whatever reason. No new changes so far.
Update 2: Jailbreaking with ZiPhone on 1.1.4 still works like a charm! Zibri, creator of the jailbreak, is warning against this though, he would like to test it fully before anyone tries jailbreaking the 1.1.4 firmware.

Did you lose all of your 3rd party apps? I was thinking of upgrading to 1.1.3 then 1.1.4 but I’m scared that the updated will erase my apps.
Comment on February 27, 2008 11:38 amSo far it doesn’t look like you lose your apps, they are still installed, but they don’t show up on the Springboard (the main screen). Hopefully the new jailbreak from Zibri will fix this.

Same happened to me, safari dead after update. Lucky enough having goggled osacs tip about the problem. So I took a shower, and yes it works.

Icon rearrange feature doesn’t work anymore… The iphone apps are gone too along with the other stuff. I was hoping the damn thing will think the iphone apps will belong ^_^”
